any free and good pop up blockers?

Getting anoyed at the way too many pop up blockers and wondering if there are any recommendations for a free and effective pop up blocker??

Most browsers have pop up blockers build in these days. Haven't seen a pop up in ages, on either firefox and explorer.

Mostly using chrome on windows 7..........are other browsers less prone to pop ups and how do I configure my chrome to block

Disabling of pop-ups is usually built-in to browsers, you're quite entitled to discuss how to turn it on. Further discussion of ad-blockers will result in holidays.
