Where to renew work permit in Bangkok, as Labour Ministry now closed?

I will need to renew my work permit until latest early February. given that the Labour Ministry either is closed now or will be closed during the 'bangkok shutdown', are there any alternate locations in Bangkok where the work permit can be renewed?

I am also wondering if anybody knows the Ministry of Labour is opened ?

I was given this number 081 777 3547 earlier today by the Board of Investment One Stop One Service Center No one answered in the morning but I guess it is a cell to someone within the employment office that is temporarily set up in Chantaburi Square, where I was told the Labor ministry is holing up. Try it on Monday

I could not get a direct number to that office, I called the BOI five times, each time transferred to the Employment Office and no one ever picked up and it just t hung up after 20 rings or so. this was around 10 AM so not sure what the excuse would be that no one answers

You can try the govt help line , 1111 but they will direct you to the BOI OSOS office 02 209 1100 Press 2 for English that gets you a voice menu in Thai, I just kept pushing 1 and got someone who transferred me to.. no one.

Maybe if they start getting a lot of foreigners with this problem, and there will be more every day , maybe they'll do something. Probably not.

I'm sure foreigner work permits are pretty low on the totem pole of concerns right now. If you are on an extension based on employment, you might find yourself illegally in the country when your permit expires - I just found out on another thread that having a valid visa is OK to stay on, but , not an extension though. Wish I'd known it earlier in the week , would have saved me a lot of stress.

I renewed my work permit at the Chamchuri Square building on Friday (7th. February), but they say they will be back at the old Din Daeng Department of Labour building from Monday.
