PHUKET: -- German man Peter Hoffman, 75, died in his Patong home yesterday evening (January 19).

Mr Hoffman’s wife, Dudsadee Worabuth, 45, called police after her husband appeared to have fainted while sitting at his computer, and fell down. She had been cooking in the next room at the time.

He apparently hit his head in the fall, and was dead by the time emergency services arrived.

Kathu Police are trying to determine the cause of death.
