booma
I have recently heard that UK immigration are stopping people from flying to Thailand if their visa doesn't cover the duration of their stay, for example, if you have booked a return flight that means you will be in LOS 31 days, you will not be allowed to fly as you can only be issued a 30 voe visa in Thailand. Is this correct and, if it is, does it affect other visas i.e. tourist visas? I thought that if you had a tourist visa you could fly into LOS on a single ticket, with no predetermined return date. ubonjoe
It is not UK immigration that will stop you from traveling it will be the airline. The airline can deny boarding of your flight if you do not have a visa or a flight out of the country within 30 days of arrival. This rule has been in place for many years.
