Impressive.

It's smokin' hot.

Just reading the stats on it now. It's also got that remote control via FLUcard and tablet thing Pentax promised with the K-3 (as advertised) but seem not to have delivered. As usual.

This thing combined with an f/1.2 is looking good. Really good.

Recently announced & available in November i do believe . . . the new Graphite Silver Edition. What a beautiful thing! eh? It's time for a change of systems . . . and this is my next purchase. I've always drooled over Fuji's excellent IQ, and the X-T1 with that awesome X-Trans CMOS II sensor has been in my sights for a while. Now this gorgeous make-over has finally made me pull the trigger.

^ yeah, the fuji 23/1.4 or the 35/1.4 will be top of the list. I like shooting wide landscape & night/astro/star field stuff too . . so the Samyang 12/2.0 is very likely also.

From what I read, the 23 is better than the 35. Deffo go for the 56/1.2, that is one stunning lens.

Recently picked up a Samyang 14/2.8 in Pentax-K to go on the A7r via Rayqual adapter . . . bizarrely good value at £275 delivered.

^ yes . . i've been reading up on that 1.2 recently & it is tempting . . . lot's of examples of it's brilliance on this other Flickr X-T1 Pool also.

agree on Samyang too . . amazing quality & build . . and relatively cheap. All good.

Ohhhh . . . I'm so excited!

Go with the 23 and 56, GH.

There's a new 56 out too . . .

You might be better going for the Fuji 14mm than the Samyang.

^ ha . . yes the APD version. Been following details on that too since it was announced. Trouble is, a 56mm isn't something that i'd be using that much . . a great portrait lens it is though no doubt.

I'm already sold on the Samyang for the main uses that i'll be needing an ultra wide for . . . http://petapixel.com/2014/06/04/review-rokinon-12mm-f2-0-great-option-astrophotogs-budget/

@ GH & MJP....I have been following this camera for a bit myself. To me it's another Fuji

piece of excellence and a well thought one at that. Sadly, in my case I have too much

invested in Nik glass plus the two new bodies arriving shortly pre-empt me doing a full

gear swap. I like ths camera...no doubt about it....it's gonna be great.

There's just not enough money in the World is there, G?

I abhor materialism but the camera bug is certainly a contagious disease.

The new camera bug...never really has been an "old" camera bug,

when it bites you, you live with the sting because it never goes away.

There is no known cure either and there will never be a cure on the

horizon...especially @ f8.0!!!

I've had a dose of both. Old lenses on new cameras.

Bank account got quite a severe rash.

There's no denying the IQ from the X-Trans files.

I've recently returned from a UK trip and took along my X-E1 which of course is old hat now.

But boy, does it stand up. God only knows how good the latest sensor is.

Here's a few from the X-E1 and kit lens which required very little post processing.

The files just "do it"

And one with the pop-up flash
