My son's birthday is coming up soon and he is after a BMX, anyone know if they are available in or around Pattaya, or does it look like a trip to BKK is needed?

The bikes them self, i dont know. But behind BIG C on sukuhmvit is a place called duck square. ( next to the harley shop) I've seen many kids there with good bmx bikes - not the cheap trash you find at a supermarket. They've got ramps,rails and other stuff there. Better to spend a buck more than see your youngster crashing because he want to be evil - knievil, ross or tom dugan ( or whoever is fame right now) and the frame cracks.

Thanks Jake, I am aware of that place and will check it out when I return from work, hopefully they can point me in the right direction. I agree a decent bike is needed. Will not be going to Tesco or Big C
