Pigman
I need about 0.25 cubic metre of pea shingle / pebbles / something else decorative to fill a feature in my garden. Buying sacks from Kamthieng Market will cost a fortune - not least in fuel. Will the roadside gravel merchants deliver such a small load? Any other suggestions than the overpriced DIY sheds please? Thanks.
eyecatcher
Sounds like about half a ton at the most....so about 20 bags. Actually getting it delivered from a merchant would cost you 500bt and its not worth it...a bag will be 50bt. What you don't see here sadly are the one ton builders bags..delivered on hiab crane for about 750bt in UK.
Daffy D
If you are talking about proper rounded stone pebbles or washed river stones then yes they will be expensive. If you are talking about stone chips at 50bt a bag it's probably the chips they use for making concrete. Nothing wrong with those but if you are going to use them to walk on or worse drive on be aware the sharp edges will grind on each other and after some time you will be left with only dust. MESmith
Global House sells sacks of rounded gravel. Brown colour. I think they do different sizes. It's outside, to the left of the entrance door. 130 bt a sack a few years ago.
