Just checked the pinned post this thread listing the holidays in LOS. Am passing thru Bangkok and needed to make some purchases at Pantip, MBK and Chinatown yarowat st. Would stores be open during Chinese New Year Friday Jan 31st, Saturday Feb 1st ? Third day of Chinese new year falls on election day Sunday Feb 2nd - expect all will be closed that day as well ?

After election, assuming there is no calamity, should shops be open Monday Feb 3rd.

(Picking up things for a wedding in the Philippines )
