PATTAYA – January 29, 2014 [PDN]; at 2.30 a.m. Pol. Lt. Col. Prasit Munsri (Investigation officer of Pattaya city police station, Chonburi province) was notified that there was a victim who had been was shot and was severely injured. The incident occurred at the beginning of Soi Sukhumvit-Pattaya 53 (Soi Nern Phlub Wan), Moo 5 central Pattaya, Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province. The victim’s friend had already sent him to Banglamung hospital so he rushed to the hospital together with the detective police team.

At the emergency room the officers found the injured man who was identified as a Mr. Sakda Charnchai, aged 18, address 77/1 Moo 6 Tambon Nong Prue, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, who is a volunteer policeman of Nong Prue police station and works at the sentry box of Pornthep 5 village. He had been shot once beneath his right breast with an unknown size bullet and was severely injured.
