CHIANG MAI: -- Thirty people were injured when a tour bus collided with a van yesterday in Chiang Mai's San Sai district.

The accident occurred at noon when the bus, carrying 24 Chinese tourists, emerged from the Mae Khao Intersection tunnel and crashed into a van carrying four European passengers on a nearby ring road.

Police found the wrecked and overturned bus and the wrecked van in the middle of road. The injured had already been sent to hospital.

Don't worry they were on top of things yesterday, I went through 4 separate road blocks, 2 in the San Sai area and 2 on the ring road.

Note It occured at noon Had to finish lunch before they could attend the accident. Food first

It's the end of the month.... Very busy doing their normals checks at this time!

What a coincidence that a minivan and a bus crash into each other the way they usually drive...

Soon Thailand will be No 1 for the most dangerous roads in the world .... with the "we want to be No 1 somewhere" attitude they will succeed soon ... I would call it a National shame ... coffee1.gif

The vehicles were carrying European and Chinese passengers, the police were frightened that they would have to speak English. Leave it up to the doctors, they can file a report for us

They are in BKK "keeping" the the peace.

I thought this was a mix up with the 22 students injured in Pattaya

2 mini van accidents with many casualties in the same day.
