PS this at koh kong

They saw you coming didnt they .Once bitten twice shy buddy .

sounds almost normal; health check? who cares for only 20 baht. a cambodian visa is 1000B and if your not staying overnight they do charge a fee, it seems to goto the Cambodian border guys but whatever it's 2 or 300 .. just use the minivan service and they include all that crap plus meals and it usuallyonly 2000

I would have said ............''Oui, immigration...NO.... I will not have 20 baths for a health check''...............coffee1.gif ........................whistling.gif

Well they're providing a service aren't they, no one held a gun to your head to go therel

Let us know when you find a cheaper competitor.

The country is on its kneelbeatdeadhorse.gif Underbeatdeadhorse.gif stand please...

Last few times for me, I got the e-visa online from Cambodian Government website --- cost 28 USD, aprrox 900 baht.

Very simple. print out 2 copies, cut to size with scissors or whatever, staple into passport. They remove 1 at entry, and the other ! at exit. Never heard of the 300 baht exit charge. 20 baht is not an issue.

That's about the same at the Laos border entry. Did not really see it as a scam, just an administrative fee. Nothings free these days.

They will try various scams on the unwary. If you make it clear you are not paying and know that this is not a requirement, they'll leave you be.

And, you most definitely CAN pay in US dollars.
