Featured Replies

so I did border run have temp passport and guy checked flight out is on Feb 10.. said you must leave then.. but visas says march 1 but with a little circle on the bottom bar that has out of order numbers,, think he was being a hard head.. does the date on stamp override it or what? why not just give me the 15 days stamp them

n,.. this was land border they didn't like my temp passport and 7 day extension ... I guess but its all legit

If you got a 30 day visa exempt entry at a land crossing, you don't have a visa. The stamp would be your permission to stay. If it states 1st March and you're leaving through the airport, that should be all that matters. If he thought you were trying to turn this into a long term stay based on border runs, he was probably reminding you to get on your booked flight out of the country. The red circle probably was a heads-up to whoever you dealt with next at that border crossing in case you planned to became a member of the frequent crossers club.

The 7 day extension is not really an extension. It means you applied for an extension, it was denied and you were given 7 days to leave the country.

You were waving a number of "red flags" at him and now you have a red circle to go with the flags.
