BKK Stop over?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a flight from The UK via AHU, BKK to Samui.

I arrive in BKK at 19.50. But don't fly, to Samui until 06.00 the following morning. This was all made in One booking.

I'd like some opinions on how easy, or possible it would be,to leave, The Airport (Suvarnabhumi) and get a hotel, close to, The Airport, for the night.

And if so, any recommendations for a hotel.

Thanks in advance

Sunny Boy.

No problem leaving the airport, there is a decent hotel on site, Novotel, plenty of other hotels nearby if your looking for something cheaper.

You could even stay downtown, but you would need a taxi back as your flight is too early for the Airport Link train.

Many nearby hotels offer free shuttle transport, check on booking.com or similar.

Novotel good but expensive.

The Novotel is pretty nice, and you can walk to departures via underground tunnel. It is a little pricy for what it is.

Booking stand in arrival hall have a LOT of hotels very close. I remember once stay overnight in hotel about 10 min from airport. Shuttle provided, food provided, anything great including morning call to your flight.
