Green
Received my PP back from my school, I have an Ed visa 1 year which I just finished the first 3 months of and was expected it to be the usual three month extension until end April, but I see that I have a "permitted to stay until" stamp until End Jan next year! I emailed my school, and they said they are 'working on it and will get back to me in a few days". Is an extension like this even possible on an Ed visa? Hopefully its true but I sense something fishy is going on...
ubonjoe
Yes it is possible. It depends upon your course of study and the immigration office you use.

Green
ah thats good news, thanks. yes my visa is good for one year, it's just that that is not what the school told me they were going to do, they said it would need to be extended every three months. And im guessing from their reply that they maybe didn't mean to do that either...
