Where can Senseo coffee pods be found?

Featured Replies

I've found an archived topic on Thaivisa about this topic from 2009, but it's inactive now. I've been looking around for Philips Senseo pods here in Bangkok, both in stores and online, and haven't had any luck. It looks like sites like Amazon.com are unwilling/unable to deliver to Thailand. Does anyone know of anywhere to get the pods in Thailand short of Ebay?

I've found alternatives such as CafeCups (which looks like a viable alternative at 20 baht/pod) and Nespresso Dolce Gusto, but I really love the Senseo system. I trust the Nespresso machines and pods are great (but expensive), but can't find any reviews of CafeCups (I think there's a demonstration store in Thong Lo).

I know I can get refillable pods, but the whole reason I have the Senseo is to avoid having to do more than press a button during the "I hate mornings" phase of each day. :)

Cheers!

@Brew,

Thanks for the info. I had heard Boncafe had good coffee (I buy it for my espresso maker from Villa), but I had no idea they made soft pods. I'm surprised to find that they're as cheap or cheaper than CafeCups and (obviously) Nespresso Dolce Gusto.

I'll keep looking for other suppliers, but I'm happy to at least have a few choices.

Cheers!

Update for anyone who may have a Senseo machine or other single-serve soft coffee pod machine:

I checked out the Boncafe showroom next to the Muang Thai Life Assurance Tower 2 (near MRT Suttisan). Great place for any coffee needs, really... they have ESE espresso pods (the "hard" ones), a number of other single-serve coffee capsules, syrups (legit syrups), and a plethora of espresso machines of varying prices. Needless to say, if you're a coffee addict like me, you're going to leave broke.

Do pay attention to the expiration dates on the pods they have though; at least for the Senseo pods, a good few of the boxes contained "expired" pods, if that really matters much. They're all individually wrapped, but I opted to go to their service center (20 baht motortaxi ride around the corner) to get fresh pods and some they didn't have in stock at the showroom. Their website has the flavors, and I've tried them all now... they're as good or better than the Senseo brand and Meiletta pods I've used.

Cheers @Brew for the heads up!
