February 18, 201412 yr Author Okay, I found a car body shop called Mongkol Jaroenyont Garage, on Sukumvit on the east side a bit (300m?) south of Klang who at first said no, but then she relented and said ok 3000baht, but low priority after cars. I'll report on outcome after.

I'll report on outcome after. If the only difference is 2000 baht I would go new. The repair will never be as good as the new on a tank. If it was a sidecover no problem , but a tank is going to absorb a lot of vibration through the frame & if the dent is seriously more than 1/16th of an inch you are just pissing in the wind. It will fail.So......3000 now & 5000 next season or 5000 baht now are your only choices that make sense.

February 21, 201412 yr Author I'm gonna go with Beardog and ll2 here. New tank 4K; spray ~1000. So I'll spring for the extra 2K, not so much because of fear that the repair would fail, rather I noticed some rust inside the old tank, and who needs problems with that! Thanks all.
