Address verification form from Bangkok Immigration

Featured Replies

I need to renew my 5 year driver lisc. and I probably will need the address verification form. Rather then get it at the US embassy I think I'll apply for it at Immigration. Anyone know what documentation/pictures that I will need?

You will not get a residence certificate from Bangkok immigration unless you are making 90 day reports to them.

If you are then fill out this form: Application Form for Residence Certificate in Thailand

You will need two photos. A copy of your passport photo page and latest extension of stay stamp may also be needed.

Thanks. Joe for the quick reply. Another question. Do they issue the letter while you wait and what is the charge?

I don't recall any charges for the certificate. Some reports say it takes as long as 2 weeks other while they waited. Not sure at the moment though with CW being closed.

Per above, it is supposed to be free and in BKK that usually means it is indeed free.

I was asked to pay 200B for each letter ( car+bike) it came by mail in 5 days (Mai 2012)

A year later they tried to charge me 400 which went down to 200 after i told them how much i paid the year before.

This time it took more then 2 weeks to arrive by mail.(Mai 2013)

The cost is 200 baht and is sent by EMS.

They will only issue if you do 90 day reporting in Bkk.
