Air Asia and serving alcohol...do they?

The worst beer I ever tasted was at 30.000 feet somewhere between KUL and SYD. It was a 12 ringgit can of Carlsberg - my mate suggested our beers tasted like <deleted> because the cans had been through too many warming/cooling cycles. No refund of course. AA

They don;t serve beer on the short flights such as those to KL.

I generally buy a hip flask or small bottle at duty free and bring it with me on the plane

Good grief man, are you that far gone that you cannot even take a short flight without imbibing alcohol?

ha ha!! hey come on give him a break after all he is an Irishman

krisb ... you had to start a thread to ask this question ... while you have a pocket rocket of info on this side of the keyboard ... tongue.png

I think the 2nd trip I ever took with AA we drank the plane dry of beer on the flight over to KL.

Used to be $3 a can, but now $4 plus ... the beers cold, hosties hot ... simples.

You can use Aussiee dollars on the flight and the change comes back in ringgit ... the exchange rate (from memory) isn't brilliant ... but wasn't a rip-off.
