Non Air Bus no charge?

Featured Replies

Why is it that some of the non aircon buses don't charge any money for the ride? But not every time. Some time you have to pay and one hour later it's free?

A few busses on some routes were made free so that poor people could use them. Like the 3rd class rail is free for thai people now.

Thanks Harry,

But why is the woman with the money box working on the bus then? And why do they charge you some times?

The free bus is one of the great benefits of Bangkok's transit system. Except they're shit buses, massive polluters and unsafe!
