Great for creating awareness and peer motivation, not so sure about the effectiveness on the actual long term behavior change success. On an individual level, weight is only a lag indicator. Would be even better if every participant got a podometer to get some measurements of their activity level (a leading indicator). Should we have the TV challenge?
