Drinking water problemm?

Featured Replies

Has anybody else noticed a funny smell to the drinking water in the last couple of days? I live very near the MWA drinking water plant on Khlong Prapa so it definitely isn't due to distance from the source.

Does that have anything to do with what YOU were doing in the water, as shown in your photo? BTW, by "drinking water" do you mean the tap water? Please don't tell you drink tap water in BKK...

It was on the Thai news last night. My wife translated for me. Something about the equipment installed was sub-standard due to corruption. Go figure. This sub-standard equipment wasn't working properly and the water isn't being treated properly. Another reason to never drink tap water in Thailand.

As the dry season kicks in,water levels are dropping in the dams, so the water is getting dirtier at the bottom, and their fitering system is not good enough.

is like salty or mineral water taste. definitely abnormal.

Can't afford 43 baht for a 6-litre bottle of Nestle Purelife? Sometimes I wonder what kind of cheap-ass lowlifes inhabit these TV forums. Do you guys SERIOUSLY drink water out of the tap in BKK??? Oh my God.
