it's all gone quiet for the moment so as i live just round the corner i popped out for a shufti. pan fah bridge is still held by the protesters, the police nowhere to be seen. bit of a tense atmosphere so i took a few photos and hurried home.

There has been one year of peaceful protest and it had led to nothing.

The crowds are deflating, every week there are less and less protesters.

Now their only real hope of being heard is through violence.

So it's going to get ugly from now on.

But again this is not a political post / topic

Or maybe things will continue to settle down, and the opposition can start being responsible and apply their brains and money to figuring out how to actually win elections.

It's not THAT hard is it? Just have to swallow their pride and pretend to pander to the masses like elites in every other so-called democracy around the world.

Just hire the right spin doctors, scraps from the table to fund some bread and circuses is all it takes.
