Australian Network ............ AFL Footy is coming !

Featured Replies

Need some help please !

What is the least expensive satelite deal I need to subscribe to get Australian Network ?

The 2014 AFL season is starting soon and I hope to watch some games this year.

Looked at the True catelogue and couldn't locate this station on their listing and the Aust Network people have NFI !

Some local help would be appreciated. I am in BKK but in a town house so it has to be Satelite.

Many thanks.

Hello,

May i suggest http://watchafl.afl.com.au/ straight down your internet, (every single game) $139 a season, give it a try now for free as all the NAB cup games are streamed for free, and you dont need to pay anything to subscribe. (for the NAB cup) I have used this service for a few seasons now and nothing else even comes close to this.

Any Satellite company will set you up with Australianetwork if i remember rightly i had the dish and setup box installed for around 6 or 7 thousand baht. Games are always delayed on Australianetwork except for the finals.

Hope i have been of some help to you....

I actually installed a satellite which is tuned in to Australian Network Asia and Pacific, BBC asia, English Japanese and Korean and a channel from NZ. It cost me about 5000Baht in 2012 with no on going costs.

The games are mostly live. They are even showing live NAB cup games on Fridays and Saturdays.

Just like in my previous post as stated. The service that i recommended is by far the best service out there. Most of the NAB cup games are being played on weekdays. At 3:10 pm Bangkok time.. 18 games played in 18 days. Unfortunately australianetwork just doesn't have the coverage of all the games..

Good luck with whatever provider you go with....

You stated in your first post that Australian network telecast are ALWAYS delayed. This is not the true

Edited by ripstanley

Delayed by between 10 and 15 minutes on australianetwork....I am here to help the original poster ripstanley, not to get into a tit for tat game with you. I am only stating the facts her mate, as i have both services. Like i said in my first post you can't compare the 2 services, I service is a television broadcasting station, and the other comes from the AFL so you go figure. It's the original posters choice to make his decision, i am only giving advice on the better service thats all.

GO PIES

I am also helping the OP. The Australian network is live via the 7 network or Pay TV. I have checked the AFL website while watching the telecast on Australian network. Check for yourself this Friday

And what about the games on during the week, just where can we watch them on australianetwork..? The afl tv website that i recommended gets a direct feed straight from fox sports.

The OP was asking about the AFL season starting in a few weeks.

Your origimal post stated that ALL games from Australian Network were ALWAYS delayed. This is not correct.

Then I stated that they were even showing two games of the NAB cup live. This is the first time Australian network have show the pre season. Your argument has change and now is only talking about the pre season which the OP was not asking about.

I was going to say I cannot understand why anyone would want to watch

a bastardised version of gaelic football played with a rugby ball on a cricket

pitch?, but after reading this thread and observing the mental abilities of it's

followers I now understand why. facepalm.gif

dont know but "GO CATS"

I bet you would much rather play that other code where they all huddle & sniff each others bums, rugby or more better known as, catch me <deleted> me.w00t.gif

Australian network lost me when they dropped the Nrl ,Damn shame as well .

Australia Network is a free service.
