PATTAYA:--A 15 year old boy, who entered a closed convenience store which is also home to a mother, her daughter and cousin, was seriously injured as the family fought back when he attempted to attack and rob them of their possessions.

The incident occurred at a Convenience Store in Soi Tanman in East Pattaya, early on Monday Morning and resulted in the 15 year old suspect being sent to Hospital with suspected head injuries.

The shop is owned by Khun Suree aged 75 who lives with her 95 year old mother and 24 year old cousin. The boy entered the store and attacked Khun Suree who shouted out for help. Her cousin, Khun Malini, heard the screams and grabbed a sword and struck the boy over the head repeatedly until he fell to the ground.

The boy was stunned long enough to be arrested at the location by Police who arrived within minutes.

Arnold Judas Rimmer of Jupiter Mining Corporation Ship Red Dwarf

Picked the wrong target.

He is lucky he was only hit on the head with sword rather than having it used correctly.

Moral of the story? Do not pick on granny's :)

Seriously though, good on them for defending their property and teaching little fcker a lesson

Good story with a happy ending.

But will they fine the burglar more than 200 Baht to deter him ? I doubt it.
