I have a question about a bus route and how it goes around the protest sites that are blocked.

My friend is coming in March and wants to go to Khao San road. I live by Bang Chak and know bus #2 runs 24hrs.

Does the protests affect the bus route say around Asok area?

Can I take this bus to and from home?

I like the bus system here and I know I could take a taxi. But I just can't find any information on buses other then their routes. Nothing if there is change.
