PATTAYA:--The funeral services, which are to be held at three separate locations to ensure that family, friends and work colleagues can pay their final respects, have begun for the Police Officer from Banglamung Police Station who was killed as he joined other officers in attempts to retake rally sites in Bangkok.

Police Lance Corporal Sarawut, who is survived by his Wife and 4 year old Child was shot in the head as he attempted to re-take the Phan Fah Bridge in Bangkok which had been occupied by the Anti-Government Protesters.

His killer has yet to be caught and on Tuesday afternoon the first of three ceremonies took place at a temple in Pattaya to mourn the loss of this well-liked and respected Police Officer.

At the ceremony the coffin containing the fallen officer was taken into the Temple as hundreds of fellow officers and friends took part in prayers led by 9 Buddhist Monks.
