Bucko
This is a Quote from N.Z Travel Abroad Advisory New Zealanders are advised to exercise a high degree of personal security awareness in Thailand. Particular care should be taken in public and commercial areas, including landmark places known to be frequented by expatriates or foreign tourists, public transport facilities, hotels, bars, tourist resorts and shopping areas. We recommend you comply with any restrictions and instructions issued by the local authorities. Does'nt leave much else to do does it-----IF the advice is followed to the letter---- I suppose I could always be dressed in a Flak Jacket and Helmet---would be a topic of conversation while enjoying a beer in the Bar Edited February 26, 2014 by Bucko

MB1
Latest advice from Oz government is to avoid the Bangkok protest sites, the deep south provinces, and jetski operators. You could also say that BEWARE of women of ill repute who hang around in bars looking like women but have parts of their body that definately are not women, but we won't do that because we don't want to scare off any more potential tourists to the land of smiles before it implodes and makes the ecomomy even worse than it is now.... Guess what though, Thailand will continue to attract even more tourists than last year......Well according to TAT anyway...
