Hua Hin:-- The Hua Hin City Football Club has lately introduced itself publicly at a press conference and announced that it would like to become a champion of the 1st Division.

According to the manager of the Hua Hin Football Team, 8 professional foreign footballers will be invited to join the Club with existing local players from Hua Hin. 14 Thai sponsors are now happy to provide financial support of one million Baht per month.

The press conference, taking place on 31 January 2014 at 2 p.m. at Hua Hin Municipality, was chaired by honorary members of the Hua Hin Football Club: Mr. Nopporn Wutthikul, Mr. Suwit Rienrungreung, Mr. Siraphan Kamolpramote, Col. Dentist Thanakrit Nopphakhunwichai, Mr. Charuphas Pinkaew and Dr. Chalermchai Sri-on.

After the Club was publicly introduced, the honorary members announced that Mr. Charuphas Pinkaew would be a team manager and Mr. Chakri Nongnoi a trainer. They also said that 8 international footballers from Africa and Japan were invited to join the team because the Club was planning to win the 1st Division and would send the team to compete against other football teams from central Thailand in upcoming several football championships.

The mayor of Hua Hin Mr. Nopporn Wutthikul added that, after the Hua Hin Football Team was formed and underwent several trials and errors, it was currently stronger and ready to become a professional football team of the country. Thanks to self-discipline, determination and hard work of all team members, the team won several local football championships. Now, the first goal to reach is the 1st Division. The Hua Hin Football Club has already invited 8 international skilled footballers to play with local team members. In so doing, the local team members will learn from the guest players and gain experience of professional football playing.

Mr. Nopporn also said that each of the 8 invited players would be paid 28,000 Baht monthly and the Club was responsible for other expenses, namely training and travelling of the team which cost a million Baht in total per month as well as another expenditure of 8 – 10 million Baht for mobilizing and promoting the team.

Since the Hua Hin Football Club need a lot of money to develop its team, sponsorship is necessary apart from moral support from local people of the city. At present, the Club is selling some souvenirs: T-shirts, caps and trousers, to raise funds the same way as other football clubs are doing. Since the new football field at the Ban Takiab Municipal School has not yet completed, the Hua Hin Football Team has to use the football fields of Thanarat Military Base and Samoh Phrong Community for daily training.

Once they are accepted, young newcomers need to seriously observe the rules formulated by the trainer, especially the training schedule.
