Rimmer
Heartless Father Kept His 2 Daughters Locked Up SATTAHIP:-- March 4, 2014 [PDN]; at 5.00 p.m. Pol.Lt. Sinsamoot Boonthassana (Investigation officer on duty of Sattahip police station) was notified from local people that 2 children were being interned and hit by their own father in a house with no house no. in Soi Sattahip Sukhumvit 3, Moo 4 Tambon Sattahip, Amphur Sattahip, Chonburi province so he rushed to inspect at scene. At the incident was a 1-storied-house and all the windows and doors were locked, and on the inside they had iron bars. Inside the house the officers found 2 girls aged 2 years and 4 years old with shabby bodies who were standing at the iron bars asking for food from the people who walked past. The officers unlocked the door and entered the house to assist the 2 victim girls and gave them some food and water to relieve their hunger. The officers noticed that they had many wounds on their bodies. Their heartless father was identified as Mr. Aekkachai (didn’t reveal his surname), aged 24, who was a car repairer mechanic. From questioning Mrs. Somrak Charoensook, aged 58, who is the sub-district doctor, he said that after Mr. Aekkachai’s wife broke up with him for another man, Mr. Aekkachai had to take care of his 2 daughters alone by earning money from working as a car repairer mechanic which stressed him out so much that he didn’t have time to take care of his daughters so he locked them in the house. soihok
Sad excuse of a Mother too. Why didn't he ask the neighbours for help? Sure they would have as they were already "feeding" the kids through the bars of the house window/door.

Popular Post pineconehead
It may turn out that this poor guy, has/has no options or resources to turn to, he is probably stressed out financially, and acts in this fashion because he doesn't know who to turn to or HOW to ask for help. Modernization, great stuff.

fakename
And how many days did the neighbors watch, as the kids were alone? Nice of the neighbors to give them food, and finally call the police, but seems it took a while!

Rimmer
Social Worker VisitsTwo Girls Abused By Their Dad SATTAHIP – March 5, 2014 [PDN]; Mr.Pairoj Malakul Na Ayudhaya, the mayor Ket Udomsak municipality, appointed Mrs.Lalidaa Saisopha, head of social workers of the municipality to visit the girls, and Mr.Ekachai, the father of the children. When she arrived at the house the girls looked cheerful and acted like nothing had happened. Mrs. Lalida Saisopa said that children must be protected by the system of social legislation and the father should not be allowed to do this because it was a violation of the children’s rights. Today she has told the father to improve the living conditions for the children because next time she comes if the conditions haven’t improved and the children are still in the same condition the social workers had authority to take the children. She also wanted to take the 2 girls to a kid’s day care and Parenting Centre of the municipality, but the father refused because of fear that the children’s mother would kidnap them. The father then insisted that he would not starve and beat them again. These children are at risk....for goodness sake Yes....and I realise we are guests here and shouldn't interfere......but these are barely far from being babies.....and not able to see danger
