Of course it doesn't really matter what little Kotee says or does. He represents a minority primarily in one part of the country where there is support for a separatist movement. That may be the dream of some in the ruling party too but they dare not admit to it and if they did it would be a long road to get to a worse place than they are in now.

Prayuth urges CMPO to act against red-shirt leader 'Ko Tee'

BANGKOK: -- Army Commander-in-Chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha Thursday urged the Centre for Maintaining Peace and Order to act against a Pathum Thani red-shirt leader for having allegedly manifested the wish to partition Thailand.

Prayuth said he would ask the CMPO to speed up action against Wutthipong Kotchathamkhun, alias Ko Tee, for having put up a sign that calls for secession of the North and Northeast from Thailand.

Prayuth said the CMPO must take an action against the red-shirt leader because the body is in charge of keeping law and order in Bangkok and adjacent provinces.

The Army chief said Wutthipong had allegedly violated Articles 113, 114, 116 and 117 of the Criminal Code.

On the other hand, personally I don't think there is a real risk of Thailand separating into multiple countries.

The real issue is why hasn't this violent mobster been arrested. He has a long record of attacking, beating up, and shooting at (Laksi) those who have a different opinion. Both in Pathum Thani & northern Bangkok.

It only reinforces the fact that the country has no proper law enforcement and it's not hard to conclude that many police actually support these dangerous criminals. Another example is giving the Udon version of Kotee - Kwanchai - a police escort to vote.

If the UDD leadership had any claim to non-violence, these wild men would be reigned in or at least disowned. Unfortunately they lie as was seen at their recent 'conference' in Korat.
