The first semester considers elements of the business environment, managing financial resources and decision making. The course content also considers aspects of organizations and behaviour, and looks at marketing principles. The second semester covers issues related to contract and negligence and the key elements of business strategy. The third semester investigates personal and professional development alongside an overview of leadership issues. With this, students are taught key communication techniques. In semester 4, students are involved in research projects and in semester 5 consider financial systems and auditing, marketing planning, as well as project design, implementation and evaluation.
