As I only plan to live there for 1 year, I am not interested in learning any languages

If the 'school' is registered with the MoE and their curriculum for the course you study is attached to the school license and the course is 1 year of study, then in theory they can obtain a 3-month non-imm ED and extend to 1 year for you. However, few of these schools are registered with the MoE. IE they are unlicensed.
