also in a situation like this I prefer a PM that shows some empathy and sprays tears instead of bullets everytime she get upset.

Unlike her brother who was very good at getting people to spray bullets everywhere

Can't win? You mean a political party which consistently gets 25 - 35 % of seats in parliament is seen as "can't win"?

Mind you, Kim Jong-un would probably agree with you. He recently won again in his constituency with not only 100% of votes cast but even with all eligeble actually having cast their vote. Now that's democracy as some like it.

The amnesty bill, rice fiasco and 2 trillion infrastructure loan (without transparency) have made it very easy for the protestors to make the Shins "an easy rally point".

Crying seems to be a Shinawatra family habit when they are cornered .

Thaksin also shed some tears when he was RIGHTFULLY accused of lying, cheating or corruption

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thaksin_Shinawatra

Transferring to maid and driver

Thaksin was charged with illegally concealing billions of baht of his wealth by transferring ownership of Shin Corp. shares to his drivers and maids, without their knowledge. Thaksin tearfully told the Constitutional Court that it was an honest mistake before the Court acquitted him on the charges.[223]

First of all, why are reporters asking any questions of Ms. Yingluck when she is doing everything she can to avoid answering the questions of the NACC ? We don't have to hear - yet again - how terribly unfair people are regarding her brother. The debate has gone long past that. It's constitutionally gone long past it. What is important now is that she appears before the NACC - and not seeking a 45 day delay while simultaneously trying to impeach one of the members of the NACC as well as six judges of the Constitutional Court. Reporters have a duty to follow-up on these. If they want to ask questions, ask about all of that. Why are reporters only allowed to ask " soft questions " ? They all know all they have to do is mention her brother's name and she will burst into tears. Do we have to see that every day ? Reporters, ask the important, tough questions. If you want to know what a tough question is - it's the one that someone will do everything to avoid.

They should pass a law here that punishes gross incompetence. Any politician that is guilty of gross incompetence can not be re-elected.

Because now you have people like Chalerm that are just cancerous to this country. He is just there to leech taxpayers money to his own bank accounts and he has been doing this for decades. What has he achieved?

Might take a long time to fill parliament

I believe the Thai society and all Thais will make their consideration if the if the Shinawatra family is that bad. Stop talking about it. Don’ they want all Thais to stay together.

I guess one family out of a population of 68 million, will not be dearly missed

Do they mean to have all Shinawatra family members leave the country for good. It is such question that should be asked.

Must be that she missed it, but Suthep has answered that question many times positively already

When a criticism, an emotionally charged question or a perceived abandonment is presented to a person with emotional dysregulation they react in an emotionally exaggerated manner to these environmental and interpersonal challenges by overreacting:

Sounds like most Thai blokes.

Sorry excuses for a should-be leader. Weak and useless and playing the pity-me card.

They were peeling onions nearby ?

One must try to understand that in the Thai culture, family comes first, sometimes even before children and husband.

Yingluck bursts into tears again in Khon Kaen province

Some bloody nerve, as if she has any right to cry. The taxpayers should cry, the farmers have a right to cry, the people who get flooded out every year can cry and the families of the people who were crippled, maimed and killed by grenades and automatic weapons, have every right to cry. This rich woman, who is losing nothing but free shopping excursions has no right. Looking for sympathy, find it in the dictionary.

"Oh for heaven's sake woman, pull yourself together"

Margaret Thatcher was hated by half the UK but she didn't complain or cry. Neither did Indira Ghandi, Sirimavo Bandanaike, Golda Meir, Benazir Bhutto or the 51 other female Prime Ministers across the world. They just got on with it.

The cause of the tears can stop anytime you like YL... just get out of the country and resign your position in politics... oh and if you really want to help thailand, take the rest of your cancerous family with you

Stop this incessant blubbing RIGHT NOW. You are supposed to be representing a country as its Prime Minister (ha!).

You're nothing but a spineless, blubbering, conniving puppet who deserves all that's coming to you and your family of evil parasites.

It'd be laughable if it wasn't so damned pathetic.

If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen! Your brothers greed has caused all this hatred. As if the Shin family were not rich enough!

The old traditional Elite fights against a newer Elite. A fight the old Yellow one will loose for shure. They can not stop the clock.

Then your ignorant, very ignorant, the n/s divide has nothing to do with the shinawatra's, take a look at the history and how this country came together as one, then the insurgency duing the indo-china wars.. this conflict is about the traditional elites in bangkok and their followers angry that they had lost power due to democracy.

I honestly believe if all Shins and their cronies all disappeared from Thailand the country could actually be repaired. As long as they are here this hatred will continue forever.

Totally agree. The people in North and NorthEast would rather be controlled by their local elite landlords and other rich folks than by those imported from Bangkok.

It's called "Local Strongman Syndrome" They will get over it eventually. Education in democracy is a gradual process.

Yep, Bossism in Thailand: http://www.uio.no/studier/emner/sv/iss/SGO2400/h05/undervisningsmateriale/Sidel.pdf

Catchy headline and lead in capture. However, doesn't sound like she "burst" into tears.

Poor thing, she's like a lamb tied to a stake. If it were only up to her, reckon she would of resigned long ago.

Just cry it out, babe. You will feel better. You must feel very distress now.

Actually it is easy to solve. Give back what belongs to the Thai people and lead your own private life.

Your current family business wealth can last you for next few grandchildren generations also no problem.
