Chaeng wattana road

Featured Replies

Is it still blocked by protestors? I mean the road and not the immigration. I can't find the answer in the visa & immigration thread, my question has nothing to do with immigration.

I have used the part from Prachachuen to Central Chaengwattana last week but still don't know if the part where the roadblock is/was is also open.

The Police in BKK is removing the roadblocks since last week but i wonder if they also did this one because it is a monk who leads the protests on chaeng wattana.

West bound still blocked between just east of Big C and near TOT, so give it a miss.

Okay thanks!

So i guess we can still go to the Avenue Chaeng wattana for shopping/eating. Those restaurants must have a hard time now, i want to support them by going for a dinner. If they go bankrupt then we have to miss them.

I forgot to ask, is the side of the road from BigC/the Avenue to IT-city/Laksi totally open for traffic now? So if i understood well the opposit direction is blocked?

Is the Bangkok Bank branch next to Immigration still accessible?

Only the lanes of changwattana between vibhavadee and prachachuen are blocked. So the whole road from the Makro to Central is open in both ways.

There are soldiers in booths everywhere along the road.
