i know my wife as many other Thais are obsessed with the lotterie.and whenever i thought i can't be shocked anymore today i had to learn about a new dimensions of madness.last week the pretty prime minister of this country went to my wifes home town- and now guess what.they are betting on her room number of the hotel!

speechless- but i love her.

glad she is yours and not mine, I wouldnt be around too long as I have seen the damage first hand gambling can cause. When you are broke, house is being taken off you and all your goods and chattels are the property of the local loan shark you will know you should have nipped it in the bud. Never trust anyone with a gambling habit and make sure she cannot get at your bank account.

Love it when they take a license number from a car that just had 4 people killed to play those numbers in the lottery. Reason....all the bad luck is gone only good is remaining.

As long as she's only buying the tickets with her own money from her allowance then no problem.

Once you see her getting involved in the actual business side of things - taking money from friends & neighbors, keeping long lists of numbers and accounts, that's when you need to put your foot down - or more likely just head for the hills while you still can.

They should have bought the tickets based on her car number plate as apparently they won this time around. That's what I heard anyway.

Yesterday my wife won the lottery on her licenseplate number, 3000 baht. So she is happy and has a lucky licenseplate.
