I do not make 90 day reports frequently as I travel a lot. In the past, when needed, I posted them to CW. That not being available this time, I elected to go to Lad Prao in person because when I did my extension there, post-36070-0-41000000-1395049654_thumb.jthey were very efficient and quick and it is close to home. This time did not go so well. Arrived at 10AM to beat the crowd for document checks and encountered a mass of humanity. The lines for document check were very long and the room was overcrowded. Got my que number -22- at 10:20 and went into the main office for the actual report. The windows opened at 10:35 and progressed very slowly. The officers had to contend with people asking questions, trying to jump que and general distractions, so it was 11:00AM before I got to the window. I got my receipt in 5 minutes and left.

Lad Prao is now a last resort for me. I will drive across Bangkok to the other location if I have to do anything with immigration before CW reopens.

I had exactly the opposite experience when I went 10 days ago. Tons of people around, but from the looks of things, mostly migrant workers (I'm guessing) filling the corridors. The whole process was completed within 20 minutes for me, far quicker than normally at CW.

I arrived here at Lad Prao at 11 am. It took me an hour to simply get a queue number.

I then went to the waiting room and after one hour they closed for lunch.

It's now 14.18 and I have number 161. They are serving number 121 now so I have a long wait.

Last time i come here. I'd rather risk getting a fine at the airport next time.

It took four hours and ten minutes

When it was my turn the process took less than two minutes.

Sorry to hear about the ordeal !

Good news! No fines at the airport for 90 day report failures !

They "catch" the failures at immigration offices and the cost is 2000 Bht !
