BirdsandBooze
Thai bike forums are saying that the Tricity is definitely going to be sold in Thailand and will be priced at 100000 baht. somehow i doubt it 200k sounds a bit more like it Why? It's a basic 125 scooter with a flashy front end. Imagine a Nouvo with the front forks swapped out for the parallelogram (that's a mouthful ) set up. Thai scooter boy forums are saying that Yamaha has plans to produce it at their Thai facility, which would certainly lead to a sensible price. Some have said that it would be suitable for disabled riders but if it's design is similar to the Piaggio MP3, when the fork lock is released the rider has to support the weight in the same way as a conventional 2 wheeler which could make it difficult for someone with dodgy pins. ll2
o hope they release a fairing version of mt 09 with revised ecu settings and suspensions. I am OK for a replacement for fz6r. Also, hope yamaha brings mt 07 to Thailand. It looks dark and cool somehow better than mt 09. go yamaha go!

Popular Post denkiblue555
Beware of buying a Yamaha bike, they seem to lose their value very very quickly. ??? This thread is not about selling Finos in the village. Nothing wrong with Yamaha - highest quality of the Jap big 4 IMHO. Honda is the best at making 'dirt cheap' - and there is a big market for that in this country (hence your resale discoveries). Hoping to see this new R25/R4 sometime soon!

ll2
Price for the Yamaha 125 Tricity is 79500 baht !! that is really a good price a worry free scoot! surprised. price of a pcx with another wheel and possibly similar power and it looks as big as a honda pcx in the photos. i am sure we will see a good number of them on the roads, especially female, disabled, old riders will favor it. anyone knows the specs of tricity 125? thanks. wantan
I like the Tricity. Want to try one to know how it rides Guess its safer to brake and less danger to slip on sand/oil when cornering. Thats quite interesting. Or am i just getting old?
