Riddle me this, Batman...

So...

When ASEAN takes effect individuals from those groups can work in the other member countries legally.

So if I marry a Thai girl, and she then gets a job in lets say...Myanmar...I can then tag along to that country on a spouse visa?

Is my logic flawed?

Your thoughts...

You tink too mutt

No one knows how it will actually be implemented in practice, wait and see, different for each country.

And only for certain licensed professionals to start.

My Thai girl is a professional (no not a hooker), we are not married but I am debating the merits of doing so. If she can go and work in Cambo, Indo or other neighbouring countries and I can tag along as a spouse that would be excellent.

We've been through this with you before, the visa requirements just aren't that big a deal for any of these countries.

Or at least they shouldn't be. Do you have particular problems in that department that would require your jumping through such hoops?

Now if you were trying to go live in Norway or something I'd understand a bit more.

Try making your major life-decisions based on something more important than avoiding a little paperwork!
