nanapong
The rates offered in the airport are poor. Only change what you have to at the airport and wait until you get in town. Best rate at TT Exchange. I figured they would not be the best rate, always try to sting you at the airport, just thought the savings on a £1000 would not be that much, can see the wife marching me around BKK looking for good rate anyone have idea of difference in rate ? please ..... like roughly ? KhunBENQ
my English friend.....exchanging pounds at the airport you will get 2 baht per pound less....than exchanging outside the airport....a simple question and a very simple answer...enjoy your holiday. Yep, supports my 4% observation At 15:00 today Krungsri Bank 52.8/£ Bangkok Bank 52.68/£ Hotel reception desks will be at least 5 Baht worse. High street booths will be somewhere in the region of 2 Baht worse (or more) What does "high street booths" mean? Simply don't know what that means. The private (non bank) exchange booths in Pattaya for example serve the best possible rates. In central Pattaya mostly not more than two minutes walk to find one. Rates at these booths on 20 Mar 2014: 53.24/Pound. Superrich Bangkok today (21 Mar): 53.4/Pound. Edited March 22, 2014 by KhunBENQ
kaveh
of course it is different but if you want to exchange $500 or so, no problem but if you talk about exchanging $10000 it makes difference
