Pheu Thai to meet on Mar 25th to discuss the party's managing board restructuring

BANGKOK, 21 Mar 2014, (NNT) - The Pheu Thai Party will call a general meeting on March 25th to discuss the party restructuring, says the party spokesperson.

According to Pheu Thai Party’s spokesperson Prompong Nopparit, three additional Deputy Secretary posts will be added to the party’s current structure, elaborating that their duty is to coordinate the work of the party.

He urged Pheu Thai Party members to remain neutral during the senatorial election period, saying members who violated the election law would face disciplinary as well as legal actions.

Mr. Prompong also advised party members to be prepared for whatever the verdict of the Charter Court on the constitutionality of the February 2nd national polls, saying the Party would have to be ready for either a new round of general election, if the court voided the February 2nd polls, or election re-runs.

Mr. Prompong also encouraged his fellow party members to create an understanding among party’s supporters that the Pheu Thai Party has been a victim of political games orchestrated by the People’s Democratic Reform Committee and the Democrat Party.

In response to the Democrat's plan to stage another election boycott if the court nullifies the previous election, Mr. Prompong urged the Democrat Party to clarify the plan to the public. He also suggested that Democrat party leader, Abhisit Vejjajiva, consider stepping down from the position, making ways for new blood.

He also reiterated the party’s demand that Mr. Wicha Mahakoon be removed from the National Anti- Corruption Commission, claiming that the latter was biased towards Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, who has been charged with negligence in the rice pledging scheme; as evidenced by his earlier remarks on the issue to the media .

I already feel pity and sympathy for the Pheu Thai party now that their spokesperson encourages his fellow party members to "create" an understanding of having been a victim of political games orchestrated by opponents.

And shouldn't you be removed seeing as you were supposed to be serving 1 year in prison after the court threw out your appeal 3 months ago?

So all these announcements as spokesperson the PTP and not so much as a word of condemnation for the attempted assassination of a constitutional court judge last night.

Oh right, sorry I forgot, your party are behind it.

This rabble should be disinfected. They ate poisoned through and through. I think the garbage they speak and actually believe is the sole reason this country is undemocratic, backward and in the state it is in

Not true. The Phua Thai party has been a victim of it's own greed and stupidity. The PDRC and Democratic Party are simply asking that you abide by the law.

Why am I not surprised , the quote of remaining neutral during senatorial elections , say's it all , what a load of morons this party is , there is not a statesman within cooee of the PTP, all trust up wealthy persons, some of rather dubious character , living in the past, trying to do what the junta did well years ago and they thought they had Democracy. bah.gif

Bit late, while 1/2 of the country, the EC, the NACC are holding talks not of restructuring, but "destruction" of your party and they are doing well.
