March 25, 201412 yr I been consider looking more into hair loss treatments including transplants was curious on what clinics, hospitals are best in Thailand for Hair Consulting , procedures, doctors etc I did some searches but kept on running into rather old posts like 2007 looking to see what some people here have done, where they went and what they suggest yes i know I can shave it off , or it doesnt matter in Thailand, sure there will be lots of jokes but really looking for serious and quality thoughts thanks
March 25, 201412 yr No joke but I have never met a "Hair Doctor" ! If you are seeking an explanation for hair loss then a Dermatologist would be the best person to consult. If you are male balding comes with the gender ! Edit NB Most " hair" treatments are based on Quackery ! However Regain whilst producing results for few is an expensive and on going treatment. Transplantation is an option for some but before spending money ask about the long term outlook . Edited March 25, 201412 yr by thepool

March 26, 201412 yr Theres a female dermatologist at bumrungrad whose 'clinical interest' is hair. It might be a viable starting point. find her on the website
March 27, 201412 yr I had my hair transplant done in Mauritius. French clinic dedicated to one procedure with a permanent medical staff of about 20 (nurses, surgeons, anaesthetist etc). Each hair follicle individually transplanted. This was 10 years ago so maybe some new techniques with less invasion available? Best 5,000 GBP I ever spent. Google hairtransplant Mauritius for more info about the clinic.

April 3, 201412 yr DHT has a good rep but they don't like to do FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction); they prefer strip which involves cutting a strip of scalp out of the back of your head, dissceting it and planting the individual grafts into recipient sites. This will leave a long scar in the back of your head which is permanent FUE takes one follicular unit at a time so it takes longer to do and is more expensive but it won't leave such a visible scar. There are scars but they're hard to see unless you're actually looking for them. Best go to Europe. Guys like Feriduni, Lorenzo, Bisanga, Mwamba are all part of the gold standard when it comes to FUE. USA/Canada has guys like Feller, Shapiro and Rahal but they're not as good as the guys in Europe. Good luck
