Bangkok to Krabi

Featured Replies

I want to go to Krabi for Songkran. Having looked at flights with Bangkok Air they're about 3,600 baht return so I think to save money it would be better to go by bus. I know Khao San has a multitude of deals and businesses offering such a trip. I was wondering if anyone had been and could recommend anyone they had used recently. Ideally I'd be looking for a package deal including accommodation. The most important things to me are value and service. So if anyone has any recommendations or advice as to where to go or who to speak to give me a shout. :)

Not an answer to the question you ask, but Air Asia fly Bangkok (don muang) to Krabi as well - likely to be cheaper. I think Thai also fly from Suvarnabhumi but probably equally expensive to Bangkok Air. Nok do the don muang route as well, but would never recommend them.

not sure about now, but i saw a flight for around 1,599B with AA. Nok air might fly there also.

whatever u do, avoid buses from ksr at all costs. go with the buses from the various bus terminals. overnight ones seem to have the most accidents also.

Do the overnight train to Surat and jump a ride to Krabi from there.

I take it that's 1599 baht each way?
