Puncture problems

Recommended Posts

Just a quick one, the fil bought a new manual Honda click a few months ago.

But seems to have a piece of glass or other sharp object in the back tire and keeps getting a puncture, he has replaced the inner tube 2 times in 2 days. As we live in a village so not the best roads this will be a recurring problem I feel.

How much would it cost to replace with tubeless tires? I know nothing about bikes so is this even possible?

Buy a good quality outer and inner tire.

I had the same problem with a yamaha, punctures all the time.

Went to a small shop and told him I would like to have good tires.

Since then.......1400 baht later.....bo more puntures.

Take care the tire has a good profile, not one of those slicks, and do not go the tubeless way.

You have something stuck in the tyre. Re puncturing the new tube. I always get a bit of rag cloth and run it around the inside of the tyre when off, if there is anything sticking in tyre the rag catches on it.and obviously look in the tyre to check for stuff sticking in it before refitting
