Master Degree in Bangkok

Recommended Posts

Thinking about updating to a Masters or MBA ?

(I have BSC in Tourism Management)

I would like to do a part-time course at w/e and holidays -

but I don't want it to take for ever,,,

And I don't want to pay a lot

(It's just an update - anything will do...)

Plus could I work at a BKK or Phuket Uni and take a Masters with them (Lower cost?)

Thanks

You need a masters degree to teach at university in Thailand unless you're helping out in the intensive English program or something like that..

I never knew that. I taught at one for 5 years. Is it a fairly recent change?

It's been like that for a while now.It is possible to teach ESL type classes but core courses are supposed to be taught by someone with a masters degree if you are teaching in a bachelors degree program.

Siam University MBA is around 140-160k baht without any discounts

You can take major of hotel and tourism management (if you want) or many other majors.

They also have Master of Arts (Peace and diplomacy) program, that costs you around 200k

Lectures on both programs run evenings or weekends. (mostly on weekends)

Right, but some unis allow students to work in admin jobs while studying there.
