US passport, crossing to Poipet to go to Siem Reap, back 2 days later. Will I get the 30 days visa exempt stamp at Aranyaprathet?

About Aranyaprathet, next year it will be my immigration office ( I"need 90 days report and extension of visa there ) ; I have read somewhere there is a special immigration office for foreign residents, not the same that the one at the border ; is it true, and where is it ?
