wilcopops Posted April 4, 2014 Share Posted April 4, 2014 Can anyone confirm that the Myanmar Embassy will be closed on these dates - 14, 15, 16, 17 April 2014 for Maha Thingyan Festival? does this mean that queues at the embassy on the Friday will be enormous? SeaVisionBurma Posted April 4, 2014 Share Posted April 4, 2014 Yes - the Myanmar Embassy in Bangkok will be closed from Monday 14 to Thursday 17 April 2014. And the queues will be horrendous on Friday 11th April, Friday 18th April, and Monday 21st April. I actually flew in to Bangkok this afternoon to go and see the embassy staff to discuss this with them, but alas my flight was late and I missed them by 15 minutes.
