Royal rainmaking patent registered in Europe will be presented to His Majesty the King

The National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) will present a royal rainmaking patent certificate registered in the European Union to His Majesty the King.

NRCT secretary-general Anon Bunyarattawej (อานนท์ บุณยะรัตเวช) said the European Patent Office had issued the patent named “Weather Modification by Royal Rainmaking Technology” which is valid in 30 countries in Europe to the King on October 12, 2005. The presentation date has not yet been scheduled.

Mr. Anon said NRCT also is in the process of registering the patent for royal rainmaking techniques in the United States and Hong Kong. The patent for royal rain making in Thailand had already been issued and presented to the King on June 2, 2003 by the Intellectual Property Department, he said.

Mr. Anon said NRCT will hold an exhibition in honour of the King and demonstrate royal rainmaking techniques as part of the Thailand Research Expo in Bangkok in September.

Taoism: shit happens

Buddhism: if shit happens, it isn't really shit

Islam: if shit happens, it is the will of Allah

Catholicism: if shit happens, you deserve it

Judaism: why does this shit always happen to us?

Atheism: I don't believe this shit

Are there any details of the technique used?

I thought it was just seeding clouds with crystals,

something that has been well known and used around the world for a long time.
