April 13, 201412 yr I just bought an IKEA wood kitchen work bench. The work surface is only lightly oiled and will stain easily. I do not want to use polyurethane varnish or ordinary shellac or linseed oil as it is a food prep surface. In the past, when I had my own woodworking space, I used to use Tung Oil or Watco Royal Danish oil for similar purposes. I've checked several local Bangkok paint stores and HOME-PRO but can not find either. Has anybody seen these products anywhere in Bangkok?

I had tried the Google...got a product referral service that listed a company that sold it by the drum as well. I could not use that much in 4 lifetimes...well, maybe if I get senile and decide to build a wooden Thai house.
