We can't see your head.....

Featured Replies

A tale from the sticks...

My Issan ex (height 145cm), called me today from 'home' with some concern. Apparently, several people in her village have told her that when they look at her, they cannot see her head!

My suggestion that she stand on a chair was not appreciated...

The villagers are saying that they cannot see any head on her torso, and some other person is working magic spells to have her put to death.

Although on many previous occasions whilst married, I would have welcomed such spells to be successful, I can't help but think that there is some jealousy at work here. The villagers probably are well aware that my ex is a strong animist and will be unsettled by these comments.

I have put her mind at rest with the consoling advice that 'it is all total <deleted>'.

But have you/your other half ever been on the receiving end of black magic spells or curses?

Do tell

Simon

Does she drive a fortuner?

There should be against the law to operate a vehicle if one can not see out through the windows.

The norm is to get to the temple so the monks can deal with 'it'.

totster :)

I wouldn't push this too far lest one of the villagers say a sacrificial offering of your ex-husband is a way to break the spell.

Are we serious? Surely nobody is that stupid (yes I am aware of where we live)

Get a big wreath of garlic for on the door. Evil spirits can't stand. Don't ask me how I know!

Quick, get her to a go-go bar and photograph her. Then you can rewrite the famous NY Post headline: Headless woman found in topless bar.

One suspects the people in the village who are saying this are obviously smoking the funny fags

I remember in school assembly when the headmaster had us all saying prayers to some imaginary spirit in the sky.... bonkers

I have had experience with not seeing other people's heads. These people were spiritually advanced and included the Dalai Lama. It may be due to a strong aura or soul. I'd try to convince her that it is nothing bad but in fact something to be proud of!

maybe she finally got one of your jokes and laughed her head off? whistling.gif

Hang on.....if they are telling her that they can't see her head, where are they addressing their remarks, to her chest?

Also, why are the observers not freaked out? I think if a villager saw a headless woman, they would be running and screaming.

Sounds like a group of people, knowing her gullibility, are deliberately trying to get her scared.

These people who can't see her head wouldn't be related to the local shaman by any chance?

Or is this a new twist on the sick kwai ruse?

Tell her to wear a hat with a secret password printed on the underside... if any of the villagers can tell her the secret password without her removing the hat, her head is really invisible.

Never mind being proud... she needs to get herself to Las Vegas and make a fortune as a circus act.

Are they implying that her head is now so big, that she's married a farang, that it's stuck up her own ass?

Just spoke to my missus about this and she says somone is trying to kill her with magic.

To me its crap but who knows.
