There are no activities. We have leant that the next legislative session will commence in the third week of May. And in May’s first week, we have planned to hold the meeting on constitution amendments. We expect our talks to proceed continuously, including weekends,” said Dr. Aye Maung. Union Assembly Speaker Thura Shwe Mann said that the pertinent charter provisions slated for change must be amended in accordance with the legislative power. The amendments should complete six months ahead of the 2015 general election.
